Time To Say Goodbye

Life is not easy
At least that's what I'm told

We go through life tring
To be different and bold

But I was always
Far to shy

I would just hide in the shadows
And cry

But when I met you
Something was different

You were everything I wanted
You were my angel sent

Sadly one day
I fell apart

I didn't want you
To give me your heart

I didn't deserve it
It was too pure for me

I just wish you would understand
I just wish you could see

That although I make
This tough decision

It is with regret that I say
We are done

There comes a time
When we all must say goodbye

But I don't wanna spend my
Life building a rope

Only to have to say goodbye and
Cut that rope that bonds me to you

Because if I don't cut it now
There's nothing I can do

To break it
Because it is too strong

So I end this
Even though it feels so wrong

So I beg of you my angel
Please don't cry
